About Us

Syed Meraj Azeem is President/Director of SMA Tax & Accounting Services.  He is responsible for ensuring that SMA continues focused on reaching its growth objectives by identifying new clients, both personal and business-related, adhering to all industry standards, and performing audits.

Syed’s responsibilities have included maintaining client connections, paying personal and corporate taxes, and working with QuickBooks and other accounting softwares over his more than 17 years in the accounting & tax sector.

Syed holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting as well as a bachelor’s degree in law from Pakistan. He also attended Ryerson University in Ontario, where he took Personal Tax and Corporate courses.
